Foundation for Road Traffic Safety is a charity advocating road casualty reduction through simultaneous action on all major components of the safe road system: roads, vehicles and behaviour.

Mission
Our mission is tagged “operation rescue the system not the victim” which is geared toward addressing the deficiency and extremely low level of road users education and training with a view to making Nigerian roads safer for all.
Vision
The key note of our vision is in the creation of a new environment where:
- All road users can travel to any of their choice location without the fear of death or injuries occasioned by crashes as a result of avoidable collisions.
- All road users are made to take full responsibility for the effect their transport choices have on other road users.
- An environmentally sustainable transport system which practice equity and accessibility to all road users, permitting no disadvantages to those who choose not to own or drive a car.
- Our society will not take driving as a license to kill and call it an Accident.
Our Goal
Our goal is to change road users’ behaviors which will be a catalyst for achieving zero crashes or injuries by the year 2030 through relevant education, training, campaign and advocacy.
